Default Dark Horses

In a deep league finding the wildcard players is the toughest part.

I was wondering who out of these players do you think has the best chance of making an impact next season fanasty wise.

Group 1:
Sean Bergenheim
Ryan Callahan
David Backes
David Clarkson
Bill Thomas

Of those five, I believe that Callahan is the best dark-horse candidate for next season.

Callahan will have the highest immediate \'upside\'. I like Backes, as well, because of the experience factor but I don\'t like the New Jersey style of play.

Backes is on STL atleast 3rd probebly 2nd line... so far

Callahan should make NYR... and be on 3rd line... NYR does have more in the system beware

Bergenheim always just making the cut... he has the skills no doupt

David Clarkson will make NJ cause he\'s cheap... but as a 4th liner may move to 3rd if liked...

Bill Thomas will probebly be on PHx and will move around like a Yo Yo but never find his slot until late in the year...

Oops. Thanks for the correction Jason. I was thinking of Zajac. In any event, I would go with Callahan.

Callahan is one of favorite dark horses - overachieving year after year. I like that...

Callahan has been the one I\'ve been keeping my eye on and hoping he lasts later into our 2nd round

Not too mention he is from around where I grew up

I have Backes... I will unprotect him in my lg and if he gets taken, I\'ll trade to get him back... (Rolston, Savard, Brunette)

I like him for the simple fact he has no huge competitors for his job as of this second... therefore 50-60 on the 2nd line could happen quite easily... I like known factors over the Un-knowns around Callahan he could
get 70.... he could get 30... he could go to the minors...

He\'s not a risk I\'ll take at this point... only risk I see with David is the same injury risk with every normal player...

just my opinon...
