Kimmo Timmonen on ww -- Do I grab him?
Where do you think Kimmo T fits in on my depth chart of Dmen..
Because he is available on the waiver wire, I was thinking of packaging a decent Dman of mine in a trade to get some good offense in return and then just pick Timmonen up.

I like him while Pronger is out, but I wouldn't be making a lot of long term plans that hinge on his consistent production.

I've recycled Timonen on and off the wire over the past couple years and my experience with him is that he'll have one great game (ie: last night), then he'll have 6-7 crappy games. He's a killer in any H2H format and I would generally avoid him.
Having said that, given that Pronger is out of the lineup, he is definitely more valuable than Seidenberg.

Defense: Del Zotto / Garrison
He is obviosly a decent option while Pronger is resting his eye but you might want to take a chill pill if you think he will give you four assist nights or the Flyers will be in 9-8 games very often.
Timmonen is straight vanilla but he is at least good vanilla like Breyer's and not Shop Rite brand vanilla.
