Would you replace any of my dmen with The Wiz?
Hamonic could put up decent across the board #'s but won't blow you away either. Karlsson is putting up a ton of points but that +/- is gonna be brutal. Subban could produce Chara like #'s. Thanks

Yeah seems to me like your team will do just fine in the PIM department with guys like Subban/Richards/Downie etc...and that was really the only thing Hamonic had going over Wisniewski.
Doesn't make a bit of sense to me for Wis's owner to drop him now after he's already served three of the games lol. |

Thanks guys, now it's just a matter of whether or not I want to waste my high waiver spot on him or hope he clears waivers.

I would pick up the Wiz and I think he would be worth using your waiver sopt on him. He is a 50pt dman and there are only a few of them out there. Might be your only chance to get him.

I'm going to play devil's advocate for a minute;
Wiz hit 50 points once; which was last year. He's also never played a full season in his career; this year being no exception. If he comes back and picks up where he left off in Montreal he may end up with 50ish points; maybe; but after missing 8 games, I find it hard to believe that he'll be lighting it up right off the bat. He's a decent PIM/PT guy, but again, he needs to play, and play well to hit those numbers. That being said; Hamonic has gotten off to a great start to NHL career; has showed he's good for some PIMS; certainly not as likely to put up big points, but playing with Striet on that Isles PP should account for something. He has no history of injury(that i'm aware of anyway) and is in a good position to grow with that core of Isles players. Basically; i don't think this is as clear cut as it would seem and I'd be reluctant to use a high waiver on what i see as a lateral move. just another persepective...
