I was totally NOT surprised... when Dexter first met Hannah, there was an instant attraction. From there, when he found out she was a killer, she garnered his attention, albeit for the wrong reasons.

It ddn't help that Deb planted the Lumen seed in his head, making him relive those days (some foreshadowing). I think Hannah caught him off-guard again, by holding his hand,while they were on their way to the "kill-room." The last straw was Hannah being on the table, not begging for her life, as others have, pissing Dexter off even more. In a morbid way, Hannah supports and affirms Dexter by telling him: "Do what you have to do," - Dexter feels that killing is what he NEEDS to do. That and her being naked pretty mich sealed the deal for me that he was about to tap that ass.

Yea, I have no issues with the Hanna thing at all.

From the moment they met, you could tell that something was different with this girl for Dexter. At least that seemed pretty blatant to me.

And after getting rejected by Deb for what he is, Hanna telling him "Do what you have to" was basically saying she accepted him for what he was. I was pretty sure there was going to be sexy time one way or another.

Plus, how the hell could you ever say no to Yvonne? Holy shit what a babe.

On a sidenote, I watched the next episode preview for the first time... wish I didn't, holy shit looks like a lot of stuff is going to go down.

A lot of abrupt exits from people that appear like they'll be significant players in the show. Don't know how she poisoned him without it coming up on the tox screen.

The show has done a good job of intertwining a whole bunch of different plot points though...with Quinn giving his dirty money to Batista...Deb telling Dexter to do what she did. Circo getting released...Quinn still being on the hook with the brotherhood. Crazy.

What a tangled web they've weaved.

Also, I would think the Columbians themselves would be targeting Circo no? I find it odd that there's no apparent actual 'war' between the two groups...but it was evidently serious enough for Circo to send Viktor over.

There's so much shit going on right now... I think they had to kill off a few things because it was getting way too complex.

Though Laguerta's research thing makes me think that's going to snowball quick.

Exactly. He was brought in to ramp things up and make Deb aware of Hanna.

As for Laguearta....what the heck did she even "see" when looking through those notes? I know his name was there but why was that significant?

She was looking at a list of people that owned a boat at a certain marina or something. The thing that probably struck significance with her when she saw his name there was the way Doakes was gunning hard for Dexter before he was killed and accused of being the 'Bay Harbor Butcher'. Also she's probably finally catching up i.e. collecting blood slides and Dexter being a blood analyst.

If you guys remember, Lundy set up cameras at all the marinas in Miami or something to see if anyone tried to go back to their boat and clean it of all traces of evidence and Dexter deleted the video of him doing just that. So the marina angle was something they did in the past.

It was probably something that her character just overlooked at the time but now she's trying to find a way to clear Doakes' name...especially since the BHB is still 'out there'

Anyone notice one of the names on the boat registration list?
