one thing about this series is that even when I'm a little disappointed with an episode or plot line, I always can't wait for the next episode to find out what they will do next...they always seem to keep me interested

I guess I've been waiting since the first season for Deb to find out that Dexter is a killer and now that it has happened, it hasn't entirely lived up to my expectation (at least not yet). I don't know how they could have done it any differently, but I was/have been let down a bit.

That said, as Dyz mentions, there are numerous storyline and character developments that I am intrigued about. And I totally love the new bad guy (the mob boss from Kiev). He is real nasty.

I'm definitely looking forward to next week.

Yeah, I didn't pick up on this show until it was already half into the sixth season....so it was really fun watching it from the beginning without having to wait weeks in between episodes.

On the other hand though I watched the entire series in a week and a half during exam period last winter when I should have been studying...so I have yet to decide if it was a good thing or a bad thing lol.

yeah, I watched every episode of The Wire in a 2 or 3 week period. It is kinda fun watching a series like that, but I find I appreciate a series more when I have to wait for each episode. Waiting between seasons (like I am for Breaking Bad right now) really builds the anticipation and somehow, in the end, makes me crave and enjoy the series even more.

I know what you mean. I think for me the lack of satisfaction is because it all just came so fast. Like literally within an episode and 5 seconds.....Deb saw him kill someone and found out his secret. The entire series has been building to this point I just thought that it would have had a bigger....outcome?

How long can you hide the secret when you murdered someone wrapped to a table and were seen by your sister?

Also, don't forget - we're two episodes in. There's sure as hell going to be a lot more coming up.

SPOILERS (but you should know that by now - still, it should probably be added to the thread title)

Just finished #3 - wow a lot happened. Loved how Dex got the intern (how come I am always forgetting his damn name?) good...kind of ironic how his (the intern's) own anger did him in. But holy shit - now the Russian mafia will be all over Dexter - he's never had this kind of adversary...

I like the way they got Deb to see what Dexter does and what happens when one of his targets gets away - I think she regrets stopping him, and I can see her giving him a new one to take out in the future.

The vision Dex has of stabbing Masuka with the pen was priceless...also loved the imagery of the walls squeezing Dexter in early in the episode when he is arguing with Deb after choking the guy in the holding cell - great symbolism there.

Walking Dead has nothing on Dexter

Like I said in an earlier post, I think Deb is going to follow Dex's ways and join him in his good serial killings.

She will fight it but then she will understand.

The Russian Mafia guy is a serial killer too.
Makes for a great plot.

His maze reminded me of Saw and his outfit reminded me of some weird cross between Nic Cage in Kickass and the gimp from Pulp Fiction... so yeah, kind of ****ed up.
