Point only league.
Edler is the only one with the first Dmen status. Burns have a fresh start. Shattenkirk have the higher upside. So... ???

I would rank them like this:
Edler Burns Shatty I would've put Burns first if it was not for his band aid status Peace

I like this list. Having watched Burns a lot here in Minny, IF he stay healthy will be a monster in SJ. Now with Ehrhoff gone, Edler has the most offensive upside for VAN. Considering their #1 PP, that bodes well for him.

I agree with this ranking. Burns has had some injuries in the past, which make him a bit more risky. But putting Shattenkirk ahead of Burns is just as risky because he is less proven in terms of production and hasn't played enough seasons to know if he will be injury prone.

Burns is a huge question mark - if healthy he could be the best on this list. If not, well we know that story too.
However, I'd probably rank them Edler, Shatty, Burns. Burns slides ahead of Shatty in a one year. |

In points only, I'd take Edler, Burns, Shatty. I'm not sold on Shatty, yet. I need to see more of him to really think he's better than the others long-term.
