Hello fellow poolies.

I've seen how Rundblad is hyped coming into this season: a great prospect, was drafted in a previous draft class, and is expected to hit the ground running in the NHL. He's considered one of the best players not in the league.

My question is: who's that guy for next year? Who's the guy you draft this year, with Rundbladian expectations for next season?

wow, tough one. only Big Ev would have picked Rundblad this time last year. no one saw his SEL breakout coming like that.

Elliott may be the guy, after everyone gets let down by him not making the team. from what i've read, the Dobberhockey crew are just about the only ones who expect him to be in the NHL this year.

people are naming all the obvious ones...but if you are only drafting 2011 guys (not sure why I think that), then your options are severely limited.

If all drafted dmen, I concur that you need to look at someone like B. Smith, Ellis, Gragnani, S. Elliott, T. Barrie, etc. But some of those guys might make the NHL this coming season. If they don't, next year they will be hyped even more than they are right now.
