for what it\'s worth - i\'d try to put the ramblings above the search bar. i know that many users visit the site - see if there\'s anything new in the ramblings and then either click off or click into the ramblings/forum area... making a visitor scroll down to find the bread and butter of this site that distinguishes it day in/day out from the other guys out there isn\'t the greatest idea in my opinion - i visit your site for the ramblings/tidbits/updates and have dozens of sites at my disposal for scoreboard purposes. i\'d keep the ramblings on top...

its a good idea, but i dont really like it in that spot. i would rather have a horizontal widget/ticker (much like the one on the front page of nhl.com) that runs just below the dobberhockey banner, or even just below the advertisements on the front page...
but finding a horizontal ticker would be the tricky part.

i just think that the ramblings were in such a nice little spot before, that i wouldnt touch that peice of the site.

i dont know thats my opinion... i dont really come to this site for scores anyways, but just trying to help out... i did a bit of web design in my day, and i was always big on the site structure.
