Default Authentic NHL Jersey Size Question

I am considering getting my first authentic jersey, and had a question for anyone familiar with both replicas and authentics. An XL replica fits me nicely except the arms are a little long, which isn't that big a deal. So I'm wondering what size of authentic to get. I am debating between a 52 and 54, but when I Google NHL jersey size charts I get different measurements from different sites.

I am looking to buy it from Hockeytron, which has 20% off the regular price of $199 until the end of the month. The price almost looks too good to be true, and was also wondering it anyone has ordered an authentic off this site. Is the RBK 7187 the most recent jersey? Most other sites I have looked at are sold out of Bruins' authentic jerseys right now.

Thanks for any help.

if an XL replica fits you then to be safe I'd go size 52

The only thing I can add from doing some jersey shopping in Montreal is that the highest-end is an exact replica of the game-worn jersey which leaves space for shoulder pads. Not exactly ideal for wearing but a nice collector's item nonetheless. Just make sure that you get the one that suits what you want to do with it.

$200.00 for a jersey? Wow, thats crazy. I just got my Chara jersey with the Stanley Cup patch, tie down, and the strings around the collar for $40.00.

Great quality!! China baby!!

I have always been a supporter of shopping in Canada for mostly everything, but if I can save $160.00 on a jersey, then why wouldn't I??

You can just buy them online. Those Chinese knockoffs are horrible though. I have a Crosby one and it's dollar store quality. The numbering is peeling off, there's strings coming out of it... definitely not worth it unless you don't mind poor quality. NHL Shop is the best way to go IMO.

And to the op, I'd go with a 52. I wear XL as well when I buy premiers. I wear 52 for authentic.

I like to wear the good quality replicas prior to the reebok invasion (ccm/koho and even a few from starter)

you can usually find good deals on ebay for them if you roll up the sleeves and dig a bit.
