Anybody a fantasy football expert here? I'm a casual fan so I know all the players and have played fantasy for a few years, but i don't keep up with the offseason moves and NFL gossip.
who are some good sleepers to go after in my draft? any players i should avoid?

I use ESPN for my research.
One of the guys had a pretty nice group of 10 sleepers for this year. Here is link: http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/fo...k11_harrisflag On the right side of the page is several articles including "Features". These are pretty helpful. |

Matthew Stafford is probably one of the biggest boom-bust picks at this point. If he is healthy, he will likely be a top 8-10 QB. But unfortunatley he hasen't been healthy for two seasons (although looks very strong so far)
Nate Burlesson - he gets tied in with Stafford, so far in the preseason, Staff has thrown quite a bit to Burlesson, he could be a good pick near the end of your draft. Reggie Bush - I've done a few mock drafts where he has gone in the very late rounds. He isn't a good bet to play a full season, but it's not often you can get a #1 RB late in drafts. (I've noticed he even goes late in PPR drafts, which is absurd) Greg Little - if you can stash him on your bench, great. He hasen't played football for a while (due to suspension in college) but he's a beast and it's all about getting back into playing shape. With Colt McCoy looking good so far, Little could end up paying off big come the second half of the season. |

Felix Jones - I believe he will be a big part of a dynamic Dallas offense this season
Lance Moore - I think he will put up great numbers, he's one of Brees favourite targets Mario Manningham - A deep threat that should see single coverage consistently with Nicks on the other side As a sleeper don't overvalue them, These guys are meant to be drafted after the top guys at each positions are drafted( they are sleepers because they will drop in the draft to middle rounds but could surprise with top 15 positional stats) Stay Away From Steve Johnson BUF - He's now the top receiver in Buffalo and will see double coverage(look at how bad Lee Evans was without any WR help) Brandon Lloyd DEN - Let someone else draft him high based on last season Fred Jackson BUF - Buffalo has the worse offensive line |

Sleeper:
Johnny Knox: Roy Williams is in terrible shape and Knox came into camp with 10 added pounds of muscle.... I believe within the first 2 weeks Knox will regain his starting job and lead the Bears in receptions |

For the most part, he followed my advice... but he refused to draft Josh Freeman and we took: *Matthew Stafford *Greg Olsen! *Sam Bradford and... *Roy Williams ...all with Freeman on the board. Even when he was being stubborn I tried to persuade him to take Knox... because he wanted a Bears receiver. He texts me and say "I took Roy Williams... he's #1 on the depth chart." D'OH! Sometimes - you gotta give up the fight. I still like my friend. |

If you have an iPhone one of the better apps I found was "ffootball101 - draft guide"
It's $1.99 but it's got all the player write-ups and projections of a $10 magazine and it's updated quite often as well. |

I'm a Lions fan, and I still can't believe we ended up getting a 1st, 3rd and 6th for Roy from the Cowgirls |
