Long term dynasty league with full keepers on every player on our list. Currently, I own both Caron and Wilson...both of whom I feel are underrated.
I really want Smith-Pelly and the other GM I'm dealing with seems open to a move. So which player do you like more as a fantasy prospect? Wilson - Very underrated. Big body who can skate and score goals. Most people don't know that he had 86 points last year in the OHL. Panthers property, which means their's spots to earn...but prospects always flounder there. Smith-Pelly - Looks like he might make the Ducks either this year or next. He hits, he defends and he can score. To me, he just seems like he has "it". He could be the Ducks answer to Dustin Brown. Caron - Possibly the most talented of the three in regards to offense and is also further along in development. He just suffers from being a prospect on a very very deep Bruins team. He should be able to crack their roster full time this year after getting snipped last year.

They all share equal risk/reward, imo. None are sure-things. I know you are a big Smith-Pelly fan, so just give the other person whichever player (Wilson or Caron) he wants.

I think there is some misjudgment here.
Yes Garret Wilson is very underrated i´m a very huge fan of the guy. ( Especially since i´m a Panthers fan). But no he he doesn´t have that much room on the team like you think. It´s not the same Panthers team anymore. The forward crew is crowded right now and besides Wilson you got Quinton Howden who plays a similar game that is on another level, especially since he was draft in the first round and by the current GM. But i wouldn´t continue to be suspicious of Panthers draftees, be the one that takes the risk. I´m sure you will be rewarded under the new regime. But in general Wilson is not the same level than the other two. DSP is a natural born leader the Ducks are very very high on him. He will be in the NHL sooner than expected and he will be a huge piece for them. He is even considered as their best prospect over Etem by a huge basis. Caron is the best scorer of those three in my opinion and he was close last season. He was pushed down a little this season but should still make the show soon. But Boston is a little crowded you got Jared Knight and Ryan Spooner waiting for the wing spots to open up as well. In the drafts i took part this summer ( 5) it usually was the order Caron,DSP..... Wilson. So thats what the trade value goes. I´d prefer to own DSP but Wilson should be very cheap to have so take your shot.

Garrett Wilson isn't drafted in any of my 4 leagues, same goes for Smith-Pelly... But Jordan Caron is drafted in every single one. I agree with the above poster that where and when prospects were drafted can give you a good feel as to their perceived value.
I'd probably rank them: 1. Caron (Small gap) 2. Smith-Pelly (Larger gap) 3. Wilson

Well that's intriguing because I want to trade Wilson for DSP, so we'll see how the other GM feels.
