No. IMO Kulikov's upside is just as high and he has already proven that he is an NHL player. If you feel that Rundblad's trade value is greater, then maybe do it to flip him but assuming you want to move forward with one of these two players I'd have to think you should stick with Kulikov.

I would hold on to Kulikov for now. He's proven and starting to get more responsibility.

Rundblad long term maybe. I just love his wrist shot. Very Green-esque.

Wow thats a really tough one. I love Dmitry but Rundblad has the higher ceiling. Kulikov will profit from the arrival of Campbell and he will learn a lot on the offensive side and his numbers will increase on the other hand Rundblad´s ceiling is out the roof.

Usually i go the safe route in such trade and take the guy that has already proven he belongs.

With your team that is still young with Turris Berglund etc. and Crosby out this season it might be worth the chance to grab Runblad. You won´t compete this season.

I´ll try to trade Vokoun while the value is skyhigh then and get a younger goalie in return.

For this trade i´d try to get a lil more than Runblad out of your trade partners due to the fact Kulikov is the safe bet.

I like this deal for you, like keytolife said, see if you can get something more for him. it doesnt hurt to ask. I would try to trade Vokoun for a younger goalie.

i'd shoot for the fences and go rundblad. ottawa has a lot less competition for defensive ice time. obviously the safer choice is kulikov since he's already played in the NHL, but its hard to pass on rundblad...plus kulikov is russian after all

I would keep Kulikov - same age, same potential, way more proven. And yes, I think Kulikov has same potential as Rundblad who - as fancy new thing - is little bit overhyped right now.
