Default Zuccarello or Gerbe

Who has more upside and who would you keep. RW has more value in my pool and Zuccarello is a RW while Gerbe is a C. (Thanks CBS). Points only league.

I think even with Gerbe as a C he's the best option. I bet Zuccarello plays a bit in the AHL again this season. Gerbe should eventually have his position changed as well, he took all of 4 faceoffs last season, so he's obviously not a centre

I would take Gerbe as well. His upside is a fair bit higher than Zuccarello's by my count.

Even if Gerbe sticks as a third liner, I think he's at least a guarantee to be in the big show. Zucarello is a all or nothing kind of guy, IMO. Both have similar upsides, but Gerbe has the work ethic, and they love him in Buffalo.

I would go with Gerbe for this year, but I think that Zuccarello will be once he sticks in the NHL which should be next year. I dont think Gerbe will be a top 6 guy, where I think Zuccarello will be.

It's really boom or bust with Zuccarello but he should be a top 6 guy or nothing at all. Gerbe is a lot of depth to battle through in Buffalo but seems to have at least a spot in the lineup. Zuccs is not guaranteed a spot with NYR this year.

For immediate production you have to go with Gerbe. For the long term upside I would stick it out with Zuccarello.

Work ethic will not tip the scales towards either of these guys. Zuc's work ethic is extraordinary and Torts loves him for that!

I agree that the upside is probably similar so it really comes down to what your risk tollerence is. I see Gerbe as a lock to remain in the NHL but I see Zuc as having an outside shot at a plum gig on a NY scoring line.

This isn´t close i take Gerbe here without a doubt. He is a much safer bet than Zucs and has the same upside.
