Draft coming up and I will take one of these two fourth overall first three picks went rnh, landeskog, and most likely huberdeau.

I am leaning towards strome but the dobber hype machine is getting me to think about rundblad. I already have strong dmen but they are expensive and it is a salary cap league. Not to mention young dmen are worth their weight in gold in our league So who do you like

I don't think you can go wrong either way but it's Strome for me. You are already loaded on D with veterans like Boyle, Visnovsky. Studs entering their prime like Weber and Burns and youngsters like Karlsson and Hedman.

Rundblad for me in most leagues, but especially in yours considering the following factors:

- you say yourself, young and cheap dmen are worth gold
- this is a salary cap league and Rundblad makes little money, and your other dmen are expensive
- by picking Rundblad, you can afford to deal one of your expensive dmen
- Rundblad will produce right away, whereas Strome is still 2-3 years away

i would take your own advice and take rundblad. if dmen are worth a ton then i gurantee u can flip one of your roster players. i find u need to always take the BPA no mattter what position they play this early in a prospect draft. strome is gonna be good but no where near the level of rundy. he also should make an instant impact for you. because of the prospect reports high upside for this kid he is worth an arm and a leg in all keeper leagues. guys are starting to go a little crazy over him. take rundy and dont look back

Strome isnt 2-3 years away... 1, maybe 2. Anyways, i gotta be honest... very tough call. I think Strome is gonna be a excellent player, imo the best out of 2011... but the way Rundblad dominated men... he has sooo much upside, if he continues to develop... my god. I think you have to take him, his value will prob never be higher, at least for a while so you could always move him....

Take Rundblad. Take a peek back and wave bye bye to Strome.... then move on.

Dr. Green - I would want Rundblad based on the fact that he's way more of a guarantee, but your D is sick and deep. Thing is, it's also very expensive so a cheap cap hit next year will help you out a lot. I think the value of Rundblad will be so much higher than Strome's for at least the next 4 years that he's the guy to take, even if it means making a trade with one of your dmen at some point. I think you would be able to trade Rundblad for a better player than Strome as early as tomorrow. I could totally understand taking Strome, but Rundblad carries so much value already.

Even if Strome makes the Jets in the next year or two (which he might), he won't put up anything noteworthy, at first.
