Default Pick 10 players for my farm team filler

Pick 10 Players. This is for the dynasty league in my sig. These are prospects from St Louis and Calgary. I'll bold players covered in the prospects report as I'm assuming they are more likely to have an impact and it might make it easier to go through the list. Also these lists were made in May so I got Tim Erixon with Calgary just so there isn't any confusion. I'll hand out rep to those who help me.

Here's my list currently, I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anyone important. Still kind of new at this whole prospect thing.
1. Vladimir Tarasenko
2. Jaden Schwartz

I like Ortio if you need a goalie and Reinhart if you need a forward. I'd probably draft both and eliminate Nemisz from your list.

lol good o'l HUFA leagues.

I'd definitely take Reinhart.

You must have gotten a pick in the middle cause Stlouis and Calgary both kinda suck.

I suggest you draft 2 goalies before the 4th round in the varisty draft but then again, some ppl hate goalies.

I had first and last. I was going to try to get 2 goalies quickly. I don't want to deal with goalies more than I have to.

1st overall... interesting.

i guess it would depend on some of the other teams and who james let available.

funny.. Stlouis went first as well in the pcfl in 2008 and LA went first in ecfl in 2010.

yah, i would advice to get some goalies but most ppl hate on me cause i value goalies so much

what pick do you have in the varsity draft?

10th in the JV draft. 12th in the Varsity. Not good picks. I went with St Louis because I felt they had 2 potentially star forwards and I don't think I'd get as good of a shot at getting someone really good in the other drafts. Where do people start taking goalies and defensemen in the drafts typically?

12th overall in varsity? that isnt horrible... you miss out on the top top guys but you get 2 picks that are relatively close.

a lot will have to be done as the draft unfolds. i personally would feel quite vulnerable to draft a 2nd goalie with your 3rd round pick. that somewhat leaves you to draft 2 goalies b2b.

i could see a goalie or 2 be drafted before your 1st pick. most likely the goalie run will start in the 2nd round. ECFL had the biggest goalie run in the 2nd round with 12 goalies being selected (none in the 1st round).

I most likely would take a top tier goalie signed for a couple of yrs... miller, lundqvist, luo. Price is another great goalie but hes a RFA next season so you'll have to protect him so be wary about that.

I probably would take another goalie with my 2nd rounder unless I see a fwd that I cannot pass over.. but again, I am a goalie whore.

Joos is right, with that pick I'll bet at least one goalie goes befor you. Probably Lunqvist as he has a decent contract. I'd go for Price and Luongo. Luongo's Salary isn't to bad and you know you have a starter locked up. You will have to protect Price next year but it is doable. Just watch the RFA's as you draft. Here is the first four rounds of the ECFL last year. Those that drafted D early suffered and those that went for goalies did much better.

Yeah, you are either a person who invests in goalies and likes to run with 2 tier 1 or 2 goalies or you like the makeshift goalies but instead go hard on forwards.

In this league... my top 4 picks were Backstrom(wsh), Fleury, Hiller, and shockingly Seguin. At my 2nd rounder, obviously goalies starting flying off and I just barely got there in time. It was EXTREMELY painful to see 6 goalies go right before me. I knew I had to take Hiller as it would be a long time before my pick came back.

And I just gave you Carter for him

I went with Green , Rinne, Zetterberg, (Hoped a goalie would be available later), Carter (No good Goalie available so I ended up gambling on Leighton with my 5th pick.... Ouch.)
