I cannot comment on Rensfeldt. Like I mentioned above, the Swedes did not have names on their jerseys so I was constantly shuffling among the papers I had to match numbers with names and was not able to keep track of all the Swedes. I did note the twins, however, and they were not very impressive. They were soft and did not do much of anything. They played together (no real surprise, I suppose), like the Sedins, but the similarities end there, at least upon a one-game showing. I do not want to sell them short after only watching them in one game, but they did not stand out in a positive way.

No real surprises there. Biggs is a bit of a shock, but they didn't play him much really. McColgan, for a once highly-touted prospect, really did not look good at all. I feel bad for Cooper. He had a lot of family in attendance and they were really rooting for him. Tough break for him. I overheard a couple of scouts talking at length about Kevin Hayes. They knew he wouldn't make the team, but they said he wasn't being used properly by the team. He was being asked to play a role he isn't really built for. They questioned his skating as being his biggest hurdle, but the one scout was still high on him while the other thought he might not amount to much. Part of me felt guilty listening in to all the conversations around me, but it was hard not to hear what the scouts were saying because it is an extremely small venue and we were all standing very close together.

Great stuff SeaDawg, repped!
Nice to hear about Tinordi, we Habs fans are waiting patiently for the day when we have our own Chara (only in terms of size and defensive play, of course).

Great stuff. Bigtime Coyle fan here and that's good to hear that he looked good. Also think Etem is a hell of a player and I look forward to seeing him back in the WHL this season, hopefully.
