Smith and Etem....SMith is the best D man out of the list of which u need, And Etem is going to play in a top 6 role when he makes the show playing with the likes of Getzlaf, Perry or Ryan so I think he is going to put up some big numbers!!

I like Smith best from D, liked him right from draft day and he's continuously been exceeding expectations... don't usually see that and with him on Detroit, the sky should be the limit.
Agree with the Butler comments, I traded to pick him up based partially on how he's played with Spezza... plus the two year, one-way contract he signed makes him a cheap top-6 option already,and he's had some chemistry with Spezza... sounds like a good match to me. I don't see anyone that can outperform him this year. As for Etem, the Orange County Register is doing a good series on all Anaheim players, including him and Holland. They sure seem to paint a very clear and rosy picture for his future.
