What's this guy worth? I am in multiple leagues and have inquired about him but am getting crazy answers back and want to know what you guys think. Is he worth giving up a 55 point guy to attain his services? Would you pay a Cammalleri type player to get him and another prospect back.
Thanks confused

IMO Cammalleri is grossly overrated right now. He's on a defensive team, he's injury prone and he doesn't have elite linemates. I agree with your 55 point assessment for Cammy because many people still think he's a 70+ guy.
With all that said, it really depends. Larsson should play immediately in New Jersey because his cap hit of 900k is very friendly for them. However, dmen take a while to hit their stride. Here's how I break it down: Salary cap league: Larsson > Cammalleri Wing positions in league: Cammalleri > Larsson No wing positions (all forwards): Larsson > Cammalleri Dman weighted: Larsson > Cammalleri Hope this helps.

Cammalleri for Larsson seems like an overpayment in most leagues/formats, and I'm as big a Larsson fan as you will find.
That said, I just traded Larsson away in my salary cap league for Byfuglien. I know that sounds crazy, but this was in a salary cap league and the Byfuglien owner needed to shed some salary and Larsson, due to his age, can go on a Prospect Bench, which freed up a roster spot for the other guy who moved Byfuglien. This may not mean much, but my point is that Larsson's value varies depending on the league format. I see him contributing 35 pts right away, playing 1st PP unit and surprising everyone with his poise, defensive awareness, and offensive instinct. I am convinced he is more ready to play an offensive role than most people think. He won't likely crack 40 for a year or two, but his upside is 55 pts with excellent peripherals. He will be a future Norris Trophy candidate. I've said this many times before, but he was more developed at the same age than Hedman, Rundblad, OEL, Erixon, and Karlsson. I watched all of those dmen develop with team Sweden, and Larsson was by far the best "all-around" talent and his offensive game was only behind Karlsson. True, Rundblad destroyed the SEL last season, and Larsson (on the same team) didn't have impressive numbers. But I feel Larsson could have done exactly what Rundblad did, if he had been given the same opportunity. However, because Rundblad was older and the Sens really wanted him groomed for the NHL right away, the coach of Rundblad's SEL team threw as much ice-time as possible at Rundblad, largely at Larsson's expense. I think Larsson will show everyone this coming season that he is better than Rundblad and I bet he puts up more impressive numbers this coming season. Both will play in the NHL, and I definitely look forward to comparing them as the season progresses.
