Default Brendan Smith vs David Rundblad

My eyes will be peeled open when these 2 fine prospects hit the NHL ice. Smith has a great GREAT opportunity for him in Detroit to learn from Lidstrom. Great organization = formula for success.

David Rundblad another hot shot about to embark on his NHL career. Him and Karlsson on Sens blue line? Sign me up for a bib, cause I will be drooling.

It's quite obvious we all know that these 2 defensive gems come with high praise. I wonder what roads these 2 will go down in the NHL and how their careers pan out when all said and done. Both I think will perennial all-stars in their prime. I'm sure we all think that. There are other very promising defensive prospects on the way up , but these 2 are my favorite. I own both in various fantasy leagues and im vested in their rise up the NHL ranks.

i just acquired rundblad this summer. Excited to see what he can do.

I assume there will be an adjustment period getting used to a smaller ice but onces he gets comfortable out there we will really see what he can do.

There is a ton of hype surrounding these two and rightfully so. I am also looking forward to seeing these kids earn their chops in the NHL. Two totally different players but both have tremendous offensive upside. The young D guys I'm looking most forward to seeing are: Rundblad, B.Smith, Elliott, Larsson and Murphy.
