I'll be having a well-known NHL agent on an upcoming show. He works with several high-profile players at both the pro and amateur levels-- and in particular, 3 of the highest-end prospects in this year's draft among his organization's client list.

I'd like to know if, in general, players go for the $ first. It's hard to think of what I would do in that situation, with people offering me millions of dollars, but how much loyalty or desire to play in a certain region/city is there? It's obviously a case by case thing depending on the player, but overall is there any desire among players to actually be on a certain team?
