An idea for 2011-2012 League:
24-Team, H2H League with standard categories.
(23 weeks with only 2 weeks of playoffs).

Here's the concept:
*You and every other DobberHockey fan of your favourite team are the owners of a team.
Ex, all Toronto fans, who want, become part of a mass-email team to run the Toronto Maple Leafs.

*Each team would have 1 principal (the person who makes official team changes) and 5 voting members (includes the principal) that make up the executive board. These would be voted on, prior to draft, by all people wanting to be part of team. It would be encouraged that the principal be changed monthly - to give several people an opportunity to "run the team". All discussion could be done either a) by email, or b) on a private thread (if that is possible).

*At the start of every season (One-Year Pool), each team BY DEFAULT, would start with their team captain (or elected player of choice) & both goaltenders. Example, Team Pittsburgh Penguins would have Crosby, Fleury, B.Johnson. The rest of the team would be drafted from the entire player pool.

*The draft would be a standard round draft, NOT snake. The voted "weakest" team would draft first in every round. (Winnipeg?).

Why This Would be Fun:
*Gives you a chance to chat closely with your fellow DobberHockey fans of your favourite team, AND
*Prove that your group is the most fantasy-knowledgeable super-fans.

looks like a fun league. Gonna be for money or for fun and bragging rights on Dobberhockey?

The only thing I would suggest is to not have the captain and the goalie, but rather the team picks 1 player from their team. Because not all teams have the same type of players like Crosby/Fleury (look at Edmonton for example) that would be a disadvantage.

But it could potentially be fun to be part of
