There are groups and groups of "fans" setting buildings on fire, assaulting people, reported deaths, brutally beating people, breaking store windows, flipping cars over, breaking street signs and headlights, multiple fires have been started you'da think Vancouver was experiencing a forest fire... A woman working with a Vancouver station got a beaten... That is absolutely pathetic, do NOT sit here and make excuses for these "fans". Don't tell me it's only 2% of the fans when groups on groups of people are still in the streets.

This is the thing that kills me though:

All those home videos & pictures of people breaking crap and starting fires aren't going to be used to arrest or charge anyone but if there are images of one cop getting rough with someone then the amateur paparazzi is gonna come out of the wood work to help sue the city.

no offense, but you're coming off as bitter. Honestly man, we realize its dumb what they're doing. But you can't let this group of people (most of which aren't fans but rather residents taking advantage of the opportunity to destroy shit) represent the fan base. Why not let the fans at the game represent that. The ones that gave a standing ovation to the Canucks, and Thomas, and Lucic.

I'm born and raised in Toronto, and it was probably people like you that thought Toronto was a city of degenerates when the G20 riots ensued. However, over half of the rioters were people not from the city who used this as an excuse to rebel. Letting a small fraction of something represent something larger is dumb, and that's what you're doing.
