Way way too many.

But a few favorites - Gladiator, Good Will Hunting, Shawshank Redemption, The Last Kiss, Garden State, World's Greatest Dad... could probably list 100 more but I'll stop there for now anyway.

Since this is a movie discussion.. I saw Super 8, the new X-Men and the new Pirates movies yesterday.

Pirates was awesome, Xmen..only ok...

Super 8 definitely was a great movie. I think after I watch it again it could make some sort of movie list for me...

You are the first person I've seen who says that Pirates 4 is any good. Everyone else says it's "meh" and generally pointless.

I thought the new X-Men was the best in the series so far.

Oddly, my favourite movie of all-time is a baseball movie:
Bull Durham

I really can't even explain why I like this movie so much... I just really do.

I also heard that Xmen was kickass and that Pirates 4 was a sad disappointment.

I think my favourite movie of all time is Remember the Titans...just a great story and a great inspirational movie. Its definitely the movie that I've seen the most times.

I have plenty on my "Absolute Kick Ass" list, like Snatch, The Professional, True Romance, just about any spaghetti western (mainly Sergio Leone) and Bruce Lee flick, The Exorcist, Amityville Horror (1979), Caddy Shack...etc....

My absolutely most favorite movie ever, always, ad infinitum is and always will be...

The Godfather (Pt I) - best cinematography, screenplay, acting, writing, story ever IMO. When it comes on, I cannot turn it off. It is most righteous.

Interestingly, a close second for me is.....Jaws. An absolute classic, no doubt.

I never thought the X-men movies were very special. I own them all, but there was nothing about it that really popped to me.

Pirates was as or more entertaining than the other ones. IMO

That is one of my favorites, more so because I was surprised at how well Hanks pulled off that role. When I was a kid I used to watch him in a sitcom called Bosom Buddies http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3u...ies_shortfilms

I still find it hard to believe he went from cross-dressing slapstick to oscar caliber actor.

That seems to be the general sentiment about the movies. I thought Xmen was good, just not amazing. Pirates was good though. I just like the characters and storylines. Blackbeard was cool.
