Wow, Richards is getting tossed all over the place. Absolutely love this trade for the Jersey 18's though.

Thanks dyz.

I do think Spezza is severely undervalued right now though. People seem to like him more than Richards which I think is ridiculous. Spezza has 90+ potential. Richards is a solid player in the 65-80 range but Spezza heated up down the stretch and I think he's going to have a big year. I made the deal as a precursor for others.

Big Ev thought I was playing him all along and that I value Richards more than Spezza haha but I quickly pointed out that I drafted Spezza 18 picks ahead of Richards.

I'm not a big Spezza fan at all. Hasn't came close to 100 points since Heatley left, is a major band-aid boy and suffers from a lot of inconsistency. That's just me though. I'm sure there's people out there that prefer the Spezza side.

I don't expect Spezza to hit 100 points ever so I don't know why that is an issue. He has never had 100 points. I'm expecting PPG or less.

I also think Mike Richards is a little d*****bag so I feel happy about not having to cheer for him now lol.

I don't think Spezza's as big of a band-aid as others do, and I think I just traded Richards for Spezza alone because I don't really care about the other pieces right now.

I'm gunning for the upside.

Thanks for posting your draft results. I'm drafting for a keeper league with similar point settings in a couple weeks so your draft results helped me gauge the value of some players I wasn't sure about.

Quick question, what site did you guys run your draft on? We're planning on doing ours on a forum thread but I'm not really enthused about that idea.
Thanks! and good luck to all of you!

We used proboards and just posted picks in an Inaugural Draft section. It's not too too bad as long as the GMs know its draft week and keep an eye on the thread.
