The only way I can see Hodgson having some sort of break out year is if the Canucks wake up, and stick him on Kesler's wing.

They've seem so extremely against that so far, that I'm unsure if they'll do it.

Because otherwise, if they are dead set on keeping him as a center... Where does he slot in? Malhotra is our 3rd line center, I can't see Hodgson bumping him... And there is no way Kesler or Hank get bumped either.

I'd say Marchand, Oshie and Eberle will be important contributors to their respective teams...

All other names mentioned are good names to bank on, but I like these guys for the following reasons:

Since returning from his early season injury, Oshie had 24 points over the last 34 games of the season. Berglund and Stewart will surely help his numbers rise, but Oshie should do the same for his teammates as well. (65 points prediction)

Marchand showed he can play on the top 2 lines with his end-of season play and his strong contributions during the playoffs. I believe he will continue the trend with stable linemates next year. (65 points prediction)

Eberle has greatness written all over his game. On a young Oilers squad, he stood out as one of the best offensive contributors and should only get better with time. (70 points prediction)

How about S.Elliott, Angus's #1 keeper D prospect. Pretty good chance he pulls a Shattenkirk and hits 40+ in Colorado.

I also think there is a chance that Niskanen could surprise and get back on track in Pittsburgh....

I just don't see it unfortunately with Nisky. He should get some PP time with the 2nd unit, but as long as Crosby is up front and Malkin at the point on the 1st unit, I don't see a big increase in his numbers.

For defense, I'll go with Jamie McBain.
