What should Pronger receive for his elbow on McAmmond?

c) 2 games
d) 3 games
e) 4 or more

At least 1 game, I believe he should get more (2 games) due to his history and the fact that he was already suspended these Playoffs. However, I see him only getting one.

I think the one game is fair. One game in a 7 game series is a big deal so I think playoffs should factor in to the length. If this was january he probably would get 3-5 games. It wasn\'t a Simon chop or a Bertuzzi jump but it was a shot to the head and that is what they are cracking down on.

I think that (based on the fact that he was suspended already in the playoffs - less than 5 games prior), he should\'ve been suspended for at least 2 games...

Yeah he didn\'t lift or aim his elbow, but he certainly wasn\'t anywhere near as cautious as he should be... As a tall guy, he HAS to be constantly aware of the height differentials around him. If he hits high, it\'s the same thing (in my mind) as a short guy jumping and hitting someone high.

They need to send a message to him (and the other tall guys in the league) that they can\'t just skate around like oafs running into people\'s faces with their elbows... what better time to do this than the playoffs? The NHL chickened out on this one... He deserved at least 2 games (since it was his second suspendable offense in the playoffs this year). Obviously he didn\'t learn ANYTHING from the first suspension, and he likely didn\'t learn anything from this one either...

i feel the sens are lucky that it\'s only one game - since it seems to have been proven now that the only way to guarantee a Ducks win is the suspend Pronger
