So if Shoeless posts a trade, Lets say Eberle for Kulemin, but doesnt post a link, do you believe it because Shoeless is "well regarded"? I would say that Halak missing the start of the season is pretty big news, maybe not as big as my example above, but for fantasy owners with Halak as 1 of their 2 goalies....its pretty damn close. Unless I missed something in the last 5 years being a member here......does Shoeless work for TSN now or something? Except that it was never posted anywhere that he wouldn't be ready for the start of the season... so Shoeless' information was never accurate.

Fellas fellas, let's all just chill out and remember we're all friends on these boards...well at least most of us are
I didn't really read through this entire thread because I think I have the basic idea behind it but I definitely think that fact-checking is something that all of us should be responsible for...but we should also remember that we all tend to make mistakes at times. I expect Halak to be fine to start the season unless I hear otherwise..but I don't blame some people for being more cautious because that is just the nature of some compared to others. Anyway, have a great rest of the weekend everyone!

On a more serious note; I will use this Halak rumour to draft him low... so please, continue spreading this rumour (kidding). I remember reading those ramblings and wondering about whether it would be the case. True or not, fantasy hockey is always a gamble. For all you know, Halak can cut himself making dinner tomorrow... right? :P

We are adults , we are human , we make mistakes , we miss- inform , we need to be responsible for ourselves and stop expecting others to "do it for us". Sentium I don't know you personally , or any others on these forums , that I'm aware of but , many here tend to think they know others personally , maybe they do but , again untill you meet someone personally you truly don't know them.You can't see body language in a post , you can't see expression in a post , etc.So lets remember that. I've made posts that have been miss-understood , imo , I've read posts that I've miss-understood. Your input should have been in the thread you mentioned , no need for a new thread about your opinion on the matter. Shoeless , thumbs up for being the bigger person here and taking responsibility for your actions which were in question , Sentium "lighten" up buddy , we're all not perfect , we're all not as dilligent as you.I admire the fact you notice the little things , I respect the fact you don't want us to be miss led , I love the fact you so respect the use of propper english.
