Hey everyone,
Team in sig and pool rules below.. I've been offered my Kane for his Nash. I have Brad Richards so am liking the idea of pairing the two together. Is this a good move for me? This year primarily (trying to make a run) but future look aswell. Thanks to all!

Why? Nash is older, on a less offensive style team, playing with worse talent (Toews, Sharp, Hossa > Richards, Gaborik, Callahan) Also something I didn't realize but Nash has a terrible history for staying healthy. Last season was the first season of his career he has played 82 games. He actually averages about 75 games a year while Kane averages 80. Lastly, Nash has only broken 70 points once (2008, 40 goals, 79 points) and never broken 80, while Kane has a high of 88 and has only failed to break 70 once (last year where he had 66 and still beat Nash, who had 59). Chicago had a down year as a team last year, and Kane especially did. My guess is he is trying to buy Kane at a low and sell Nash at a high. In any trade that is the object. Trade an alright player when his value is at its peak for a great player while his value is very low. Nash you are guaranteed 60 points with the potential for 80, maybe. Kane you are guaranteed 70 points with the potential for 85-90. No chance I accept this deal

I don't mind the swap as I don't like Kane but you should get more. Kane is proven to be the better scorer, is younger and has higher value. You should get something good besides Nash to do the deal.

I prefer Kane to Nash in a pts only league but the move to NYR has closed that gap. I could see Nash and Kane being within a few pts of each other this coming season.

I'd still take Kane.
Don't know why I push for him so much on the boards lol, I don't even like the guy and I don't own him on any fantasy team :S |

Kane for me.. the only thing that bothers me is he is a center when he should be wing IMO.
