If Schneider is the starting goalie, then I wouldn't hesitate to move Kipper for him. BUT Luo is or remains in the picuture. You could take the chance, but I'd wait until more is known. Niemi, Hiller and Smith are all respectable choices too.
My gut says stick with your top 4 as it stands now. Kipper should garner 35 W and 3-4 SO this season.

I would swap Kipper for Schneider right now. Something is going to give (lu moves or schneider moves next year). With Quick and Ward starting and Rask backing up you are pretty solid next year and i would take the chance to be very very set up for a very long time in net by adding schneider. I dont think kipper would offer any significant point advantage over ward next year
