Strange - no thread, not even a note in Yahoo attached to him. Major league debut last night he fans 11 through 5 and a third innings and doesn't give up a run. Did anyone see the game? He was the Mets' 7th overall pick in 2010.

Didn't see the game, just the highlights, and he looked studly.

He's sitting on the waivers til tomorrow in our yahoo pool (deep, w half roster keepers). Sitting third on waiver priority - do I use it? Drop Jeff Francis (like I said, deep rosters), for him?

I'm in a pretty shallow league and I took him using my waiver priority. The guy's got the pedigree and the opportunity to stick in NY. Our short waiver time in my league made him available this morning. I see a couple GMs in my league logged in at 5am this morning likely looking to snag him but obviously to no avail. He's not going to strike out 11 every time, but he's looking pretty good. This is consistent with what he brings to the table though as he was amongst the K leaders in Triple A this season. And at 23 he's no kid either. In a deep league? I'd grab him with your waiver priority for sure.
