i strongly disagree. the best player in that deal is matt duchene. the best player at the moment is keith yandle. backstrom is a great player but i think we have seen his ceiling.

i wouldnt do that deal.

They have all been verbal offers from him.
The first couple deals were close to being done. He did some more research and thought he should be asking for more for certain players and decided he didn't want to give too much youth away.

The last deal was a confirmed offer, but he backed out last minute due to issues with another GM in the league.
I actually setup the deal and everything, then he cancelled it. A little choked about it actually.

This one is just an offer on the table from him.

I'm actually also thinking of not dealing with him at all with all these changes.
