Default Possible Trade?

I've been been trying to target Kessel for a while and I think I have the owner ready to bite..

I would offer him Ryan and Kesler to get Kessel and Moulson

Am I offering too much ? I figure Kesler isn't coming back till minimum January and I know Ryan's up side is huge but I think Kessel can build On last year especially now that he may be playing with JVR and Lupul

what do you guys think?

i think if you get Kessel in the pool you need to then trade him to me in the same pool...so i can then trade him away too.

personally....as a diehard leaf fan..they always screw me over when betting on them so i wont take a leaf on my team....but hey if he bites do it.

Points only this isn't bad, most of Kesler's value is in multi-cat and he is hurt to start the year.
Ryan is fantastic but I don't see a huge upside difference between him and Kessel. The big question is Moulson.

How many teams are in your league? Based on what I can see right now It doesn't look like you're in a great position to win so I would hold off and see if Ryan can rebound and wait until Kesler come's back. Both of their values are lower than they should be right now. No reason to sell low if you're not in contention.

definitely not in a position to win and its a 10 team points only keep all...I finished dead last, last season (I initiated rebuild in the last 1/4 of the season). I think i'm in a position now to challenge for a possible 4th place. I know moulson has increased in output in each of his 3 seasons with NYI and hit 69pts last year. I don't think Kesler will hit that based on his coming in late and probably taking a good month to get up to speed when he does!

Last 3 seasons, avg. point totals are (last year's points in brackets)

Moulson: 57 (69)
Kessel: 67 (82)

Ryan: 64 (57)
Kessler: 66 (56)

If we go by these stats, Ryan and Kessler have been the better offensive players. But Moulson and Kessel had the better 2011-2012 year. I do feel that Ryan is the best offensive player in the bunch.

I think the deal is fair for both sides. I'd go with the guys who are on the up and up, and go with Kessel/Moulson. Moulson's totals will only get better playing alongside JT and he saw good progression in his assist totals last year.

In a points only, moulson and kessel are a very good combo. I traded Ryan away last year in a Seguin deal and haven't shed one tear.

good luck

In a points-only keeper, I prefer Moulson/Kessel.
Kesler/Ryan in multi-cat.
