This is not out of the realm of possibility but it will not be a serious enough threat until a North American "name" were to leave, a la Bobby Hull when he split for the WHA. I don't think anyone is losing sleep over Tim Stapleton bolting to the K. Now if someone like Lecavalier or Iginla left, it would be an issue. That said, as long as the KHL is throwing around sick money and the NHL has a cap in place, the "threat" always exists. I mean, could you imagine if a team in the K offered Sidney Crosby $35 million a season to play in Russia? Sid may love bunking with Mario more than anyone but I don't know any human being that would turn down over $100 million for 3 years worth of work.

Frig it pissed me off so much how Stapleton was on the PP stealing points from Ladd and Byfuglien last year lol (I owned them both in one league).

He had 4PPG and 7PPA. That was just one PPP less than Ladd had... Infuriating! Haha
