Who to keep - this year and beyond?

It should be a more fair question after we see what ends up coming back in the Nash deal.

Granlund because he's not a BJ.

Granlund should have elite, if not allstar linemates, for his career. Easy choice because he's set up in a much more stable situation.

I'd take Granlund over Johansen 11 out of 10 times.

GRANLUND no doubt

Granlund will no doubt have better linemates right off the hop, but I feel the Blue Jackets will build their team around Johansen and he is going to get a ton of opportunity..

I really only think the only all-star or elite linemate Granlund could ever play with on the Wild would be Parise. Koivu, Heatley, and Setoguchi are not elite linemates.. Yes they could click very well and be successful, but they are not elite, and will not be on the all-star team.. But then again they are better then anyone Johansen will play with right away.. I just feel Johansen will get every opportunity to succeed and will be out there for top PP minutes..

I'm taking Johansen.. Who also added some much needed muscle this offseason..

Granlund for me.

pretty much what I was thinking.

I've been tracking Granlund for a few years now and pretty pumped to see how this year plays out. But I was also excited for Rundblad - not a fair comparison I admit, but the hype machine is/was alive and well for both players.

And Finnish rink sizes are more comparable to NHL rinks so that makes me a little less worried for the transition to the pros over here for Mikael.
