Just curious to your guys thoughts on who will be the better keeper. It may seem like a silly question because upton is a top ten pick at season start but obviously he hasn't exactly played like it yet. The owner of him is in 12 outa 14th and I've got Bruce plus extras I could easily offer up for Justin and not miss. Should I target him as a big buy low?

No, for a few reasons. 1) Upton has never outpowered Bruce in terms of full season numbers. 2)Bruce plays in a more hitter friendly park. 3)Bruce has a lot of protection, more in my mind than does J-Up.

I really don't think I'd do it straight up, unless there's something you neglected to mention in your post.

No I own Bruce and I was just looking at the owners record who owns upton and it's horrible. Was thinking of uptons past and potential and thought if there was a time to grab him it's now. The rf I'd have to offer would be Bruce or quinton but he'd reject quinton for obvious reasons so I thought I'd struck up another post to see people's thoughts on Justin's future. I don't need him just looking...

I bought low on Jupton and I'd do it again. He's playing like a bag of crap right now but he's got like a 40-40 ceiling. Still young and a way better keeper than Bruce.

In my opinion, offer Bruce straight up for him. See what happens.

sure upton has hr/sb - but i also like bruce.

You can't tell where Upton will land (Pitts maybe?) but you know for sure Bruce plays in a hitters park and has a good line up around him. Don't fall for the lure of potential right now.

Upton has a little more uncertainty surrounding him than Bruce, which would make me want to trade him. It's easy to fall in love with his SB potential, but he's hardly playing at a 20/20 pace right now, while Bruce could bring in an underrated 35/10 season.
