Well... I know everyone said the same thing about The Freak for years, but if Bauer doesn't hve serious arm issues in the next 5 years, I will eat my own hat. 500 foot long toss, mechanics any youth baseball coach would cringe at... ouch. it's literally painful to watch him pitch.

I tend to agree. His mechanics seem to be more embellished than those of "Big Time Timmy Jim". Moreover, Arizona hardly seems to be a pitching hotbed. Hudson and Kennedy have both failed to take the next step this season.
