The Toronto Blue Jays have optioned left fielder Eric Thames to Triple A Las Vegas and called up Mike McCoy. Safe to say they are more worried about Escobars injury then first anticipated. Why they recalled McCoy and not Adeiny Hechavarria is beyond me. Give the kid a chance.
