To me, a standard league includes all of those except hits. To remove the "bullshit" I will make note of this at the beginning of my piece.

Pengwin - a few days. Sorry for the delay. Will have some more time to write as of next week, hopefully can get through these lists quicker.

Unless you specify the lens you're looking through, how is the reader supposed to make sense of the results? My prediction of where Angus goes with it:

1. Sedin
2. Ovechkin
3. Parise
4. Kane
5. Ryan
6. Hall
7. Eriksson
8. Sharp
9. Landeskog
10. Hartnell

How I'd rank it (assuming roto-style scoring of G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, GWG, hits, SOG):

1. Ovechkin
2. Sedin
3. Parise
4. Kane
5. Ryan
6. Hall
7. Landeskog
8. Hartnell
9. Eriksson
10. Sharp

RW or C excluded from the list: Benn, Kovalchuk, Neal

Personally not a huge fan of the list, but it's all subjective I suppose. Hartnell over Sharp is ridiculous IMO... I made a post about it a while back (let's see if I can dig it up... http://forums.dobbersports.com/showthread.php?t=133740) the post I was replying to didn't include Hits which favor Hartnell but also didn't include SOG, which favor Sharp. So I still stand by the argument.

I won't touch on Benn because whether or not he's LW or C is debateable... If he's primarily C, he doesn't belong on the list. If he's predominantly LW, he should be quite a bit higher based on scoring categories. So like I said, I'll just leave him out of the discussion.

I like HPG's rankings for the most part...

Quote:
1. Ovechkin
2. Sedin
3. Parise
4. Kane
5. Ryan
6. Hall
7. Landeskog
8. Hartnell
9. Eriksson
10. Sharp

RW or C excluded from the list: Benn, Kovalchuk, Neal
However, I'd swap Hartnell and Sharp and bump Lando down a spot. So long story short, excluding Benn, Kovalchuk, Neal, my list is:

1) Ovechkin
2) Sedin
3) Parise
4) Kane
5) Ryan
6) Hall
7) Sharp
8) Landeskog
9) Eriksson
10) Hartnell

If Kovy goes back to LW he probably slides into 2nd, bumping everyone else down the list and Hartnell off. If Benn is predominantly LW he probably slides into 4th or 5th and bumps Hartnell off the list. If both are LW, Hartnell and Eriksson are off.

Always enjoy reading, and like I said it's all subjective... but in my mind Hartnell is borderline top-10, Lucic shouldn't even be on the list, and if Benn is truly LW he should be far higher than 10th.
