Default Encarnacion, Bruce, Ortiz...Sell High?

Hey fellas of Dobber Nation,

I drafted these three players (Encarnacion, Bruce, Ortiz) late in the draft and we all know they are on fire to start the season. Would you sell high or stand pat with any of these players?

I appreciated any feedback,

Cheers

I'd keep them all, nice job grabbing Ortiz and E5 late!

Edwin and Papi will likely slow down by the end of May. I'd be for selling them if the price is right, especially with Encarnacion. His best full season BA was .289, and his best power numbers were 26 bombs and 69 rbi. He's not likely to exceed either of those by much, especially the homers. If you can get an idiot to overpay, take it. Bruce however is a stud to a higher degree (32 and 97 last year!), until he goes cold. If you can afford to bench him for a month at a time, keep him.

The thing about Papi is that he hits in a great park for lefties and the Chowd Sox have a great line up. In short, try to sell E5 sooner and be patient with the other two.

Agree with johnson, It'll depend on what you can get in return.

They'll all slow down, but shouldn't fall off the face of the earth. Even with regression, Ortiz and Bruce will still likely be start worthy for the rest of the season.

The guy that could regress to a bench spot will be Encarnacion. However, E5 may have more value on your team than what other GM's will offer you - so just hold him and enjoy the late round profit if you can't get a decent offer.
