Default Pick one of 3 2nd basemen

my team is well balanced (most of my players are dual threats, hanley, braun, upton, upton, maybin, wright), but 2nd has just been a sinkhole for me. It is a dynasty, so i would like a guy who will be there for a while, but at this point i will settle for decent procution right now.

My option
Jason Kipnis (own him now)
Kelly Johnson (own him now)
Espinosa (just droped and would need to clear waivers)
beckham
barney
eric young jr
freddy sanchez
mark ellis
kolten wong

I have 2 roster spots already devoted to figuring out 2nd, and do not mind doing that it there is a best right now and a best long term. There are also a lot of other guys out there, but by my eyes those are the most interesting options out there.

I'd say the two you have are definitely the best options out of that list. I wouldn't do any adding/dropping but maybe pursue a trade for an elite 2B.

I like the Kipnis-KJ tandem you have now. Kipnis isn't going to be in his prime for a few years, so KJ provides nice production while you need it. Not a fan of Beckham, he's a bust IMO.

ok, my real thought was should i move over to espinosa, but he has been a mess this season, but is still batting 2nd in a good line up.

Kolten Wong looks like this years kipnis.... but kipnis did so well on his call up last year i am happy with him.

Not a fan of Espinosa, but that's just me.

agree w longo/mvp, i would hang onto kj.

i like kolton wong a lot. i think he will be a big time prospect by this time next season. if you have the room, roster him.

I would stay put for now as well. Throw Espinosa on the watchlist and monitor how KJ is playing but I think your best option is what you have now. Second is often a fantasy drag for a lot of people so you could definitely have a worse duo.

Can't wait to see Wong in the bigs, hoping for big things. Unless you have a spot on the bench where you are willing to stash him, I would not bother yet though.

Because you are in a dynasty league, I would definitely keep an eye on espinosa, even though he has been pretty brutal so far this year.
