Default Which SS prospect

Hey guys,

I need a bit of help here as im in a 20 team full keeper league and will be selecting of these 3 SS prospects..

Starlin Castro SS Cubs
Tim Beckham SS Rays
Alcides Escobar SS Brewers

Which SS has the best FANTASY appeal? I wanna say Beckham does, but being that he was a #1 prospect pick does not mean it will translate into stardom. I know Castro came on big time in the AFL and Escobar is the starter in Milwaukee now.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Escobar is a quick fix, but by far the weakest choice. Beckham is still the best bet, despite Castro's helium. Expect Castro to come down to earth a little this yr.

Beckham has the higher ceiling at this point. If you're in need of a SS and can compete this year however, I'd probably take a look at Escobar. Castro's showing some nice growth as well. Tough choice, but if you need a SS this year and competing, would probably take Escobar. If you have a young SS already filling your spot, then would probably select Beckham, and possibly use him as trade bait.

Escobar is the safest immediate play of the three, but Castro has the better ceiling

i'd say .300-90-5-45-40 vs. .310-100-15-70-30 as an upside for the two. Beckham's way too far off to invest very much in. will he even stay at SS?
