Hey all, I am part of a standard scoring Yahoo keeper league and I need to select my 3 season keepers (good for 1 year) and 1 franchise keeper (good for 3 years). Here are my potential players:
Curtis Granderson Ian Kinsler Mark Reynolds Denard Span Zack Greinke Jon Lester I was leaning towards: Franchise: Kinsler 1 year: Reynolds, Grienke, Lester But Reynolds' potential makes me think twice about him as my franchise player instead of Kinsler. K's are counted as a stat in my league, but he makes up for it with the rest. Also, Grienke had a really good year, so he is interesting as well... Any advice on what I should do with my keepers?? Any insight is most appreciated, Thanks |

Thing is, Reynolds stolen bases kinda came out of nowhere. Not sold he'll run as much this year. If he does, then he becomes a franchise type player. Do you really need to franchise someone this moment? I don't like any of those guys as my franchise player, and would probably see if a deal can be worked out.
If it's mandatory to franchise a player now, then Kinsler would be the safer bet. |

yea none really stand out. considering kinsler's inability to stay healthy (120, 130, 121, 144 GP last few years), i might actually go with greinke.
