Hey everyone,
I just finished my 14 team H2H 5 man keeper, and I'm a bit of a newb to fantasy baseball, so I wanted to get the opinion of people who know more than I do. How did I do, what are my weaknesses, and how can I fix them. I'm always looking for the top so, I'll take all advice! Categories are: (R), (H), (HR), (RBI), (SB), (AVG), (OBP) (W), (L), (SV), (K), (HLD), (ERA), (WHIP) My team: C - Soto 1B - B. Butler 2B - Utley 3B - M. Reynolds SS - Ev. Cabrera OF - Choo OF - C. Gonzalez OF - Damon Util - A. Kennedy Util - Reimold SP - Lester SP - Nolasco SP - Hanson RP - Valverde RP - Aardsma P - De La Rosa P - Lidge BN- Harang BN - Gregerson BN - Wilson Thanks again! |

some decent pieces but overall I would try and do some work to upgrade some areas, especially OF and SP..
You did well with Utley, Hanson,Reynolds,Lester, so you have at least 4 solid long term keepers. You'll need to find a 5th solid keeper before the year is over.. But hey, you gotta start somewhere right? I would work on some trades before your season starts..IMO decent -500 team maybe slightly better than .500. How strong do the teams in your division look compared to yours? |

I think you did rather well considering it's a 14 team league.
You have a nice balance of power and speed to go along with some better than decent pitching. Who if any SP's are significant on the WW? I really like Valverde as the Tigers' closer this year, I think he has the chance to rack up a lot of saves. Overall, I can see your team contending and perhaps with a few timely shrewd moves, you could do even better. |

Considering you're relatively new to fantasy ball, the team isn't that bad. You have a really good pitching staff, so I'd consider moving Harang and De La Rosa for another big bat - if you do that I could see you contending for a playoff spot.

Who are some under the radar power guys that I could aim to get? Chris Davis? I don't really know my sleepers that well. |

There are a few articles on this site that announced sleepers before spring training started that still apply. I also recommend getting the Dobber Guide if you haven't done so already.
