He does mean Shields with the 5-5 record. Since 2007 Shields walk rate has slowly increased from 1.5 BB/9 (2007), to 2 BB/9 (2009). Tack on the fact that he\'s also been on a 3 year rise in hits allowed per 9, and 3 year decline in dominance.

I\'m concerned over the trend, but his .321 BABIP means we should see some improvement.
