Do you think I would/ could/ should package J Bruce, Upton, and Billingsley/Felix for an upgraded 8th guy?

People to try for on rebuiding teams:

Fielder (Could always use a power bat - rebound year?)
Crawford (I I have Rollins/Phillips as 30+SB guys already)
Vlad (Anything left in the tank? - I\'m tempted to not deal for him at all...)

you should definitely try to package some players in an attempt to get Fielder. that\'s harder than you think in almost any situation out there though.

Yeah Fielder really is the only guy I\'d try to trade those guys for. He\'s the one gimme in my opinion. Otherwise, I\'d hang on to those guys. Good luck cause as shallow said, it\'s really tough to do those trades.

1) Bruce for C.Hart
2) Basically: Felix H, Billingsley, Quentin for Berkman

Rationale:
Didnt\' like giving up Quentin in the Berkman deal, but wiht so few top players available at a trade deadline I had to bite to put myself into contention for next season.

The Bruce for CHart was motivated by the fact I had Longoria, JUpton, Bruce, and Lincecum on a team that wanted to finish near the top of the standings next year. Although I have confidence that Bruce will be a solid MLB player, I felt having all those young guys created too much of a question mark heading into the next season. Also, since we dress 5 OF\'s I didnt want to force myself into drafting 5 solid OF\'s to potentially compensate for a \"Delmon Young, or Alex Gordon, or Butler\" year #2.

Any thoughts, criticisms?
