Jul 29- C Brian McCann was knocked out cold in a helmet-to-helmet collision with the Phillies\' Shane Victorino at home plate Sunday. McCann, who has never had a concussion until now, hopes he will miss only a few days. But he did not venture out to the field in Atlanta\'s 94-degree heat and humidity Monday.

Doesnt look good for the Braves. Even if he only misses a few days it makes no sense to push him hard. That team is going nowhere and he\'s a cornerstone to that franchise. Not to mention, a top 3 catcher in all of basebabll.

with Chipper and Hudson on the DL, and Tex soon to be gone, the Braves are done.
