the Blue Jackets signed him for a game due to injuries, he had been playing for Michagan so he was available and I'm sure super pumped to get into an NHL game...tiny little guy though, only 5'7 or so but he played well, good positioning and quick reflexes...that's gotta be just an awesome experience for him

Classy move by Todd Richards, head coach of the Blue Jackets to put this guy in for the last couple minutes of the final game of the season vs the Islanders. Very "Rudy-esque". Apparently the guys on the bench badgered the coach to play Hunwick and he conceeded.
