heh - goalie minutes played is one of my scoring cats in a very tight H2H final round; i need two goalie starts to make certain of taking the category, but have to fix the roster before puck drop in Detroit at 1:00pm EDT - i have one pick up left for the season - can use it to count towards other tight cats if i don't opt to grab a goalie

Karlsson and Holtby both available to pick up and listed as starters - I have Quick already but he's unconfirmed and coming off a bad game - what's the probability he gets the start ???

opponent has two starts guaranteed, and will take the cat if i can't fill the slot with a starter - I'm up in all the other goalie cats, and can take a gamble on maintaining my advantage, all part of the fun, but i can't just give a cat away by not taking both starter spots...

If I'm reading right your decision is between Holtby and Karlsson? If so I'd go with Holtby. Quick will start, the game is too important for LA.

Well, that blows. tough choices

First, you gotta go with Quick. I looked, but no tenders confirmed yet - no way they start Bernier and Quick is always the best option.

I hate both Karlsson and Holtby today, but I guess I would roll with Karlsson and hope that Cal brings it against another team with nothing to play for. I just don't see the Caps doing anything against the Rangers, especially since they may have a bit of a let down after securing a playoff spot.

Quick, Karlsson and cross your fingers.

sorry if i didn't make it clear - my options,, with one pick up left for the year, are:

1) grab a goalie in case Quick doesn't start

2) assume that he does get the game, and use the pick for a skater

so the likelihood of Quick starting is the real issue - scouring the wires for information, but nothing as yet, and rosters lock at 1:00pm....
