Default H2H Finals - down to the wire

Yesterday was my last day in the finals for my league (below in sig). I got a buy the first round and easily made it into the finals. I had owned the guy over the course of the year 19-5 and thought this should be a cake walk. Um... no.

Fleury ended up with a 5.31 GAA and .788 SV%, Bryz was 4.17 and .714. Just brutal. If I had just started Lundy all week I would have taken the goalie categories. The kicker is that I was ahead of him in wins 3-2 but I had Lundy go against his Thomas. Oh well, there went that lead...

I entered Sunday down 8-4 and basically accepted defeat. However in the DET game, BAM! Quincey gets me 19 PIM and and I pulled ahead there. Over the course of the day my team gets me 4 goals, 26 shots and 4 PPP to get to down 6-5.

I now have 16 goals to his 18 and only Kane is playing for me in the Chicago game. BAM! 2 goals and I draw even. He had Eberle going in the last game last night and if he scored I would have lost. So I end up tied 5-5 and it holds. Since I smoked the season series against him I end up winning the whole league. Down to the very last game, amazing.

So I wanted to share my ups and downs with the unpredictable beast that is H2H. Any other crazy events transpire with you to either win or lose it for you this year?

That is a Rube Goldberg Machine of H2H fantasy success: Quincey PIM-freakout -> Patrick Kane 2 goals (22 all season) -> Eberle putting up zeros.

Classic chain reaction of successful events.
