Damn, that was clossssse...

I just won my H2H semis due to Simmonds last minute 5 min fighting major. I was obliterated in all goalie cats, easily won all scoring cats and hits but lost +/. In the end, it all came down to PIMS and I won by a single penalty minute...It's crazy, I know, but it's not unfair - the other guy only came close because of Ladds 17 min the other day :-)

Now I need to get Bryz back for the finals...

In our 8 team H2H league, my production was flimsy at best, sitting around the 5th and 6th spots from the beginning, until my team turned into a juggernaut, having not lost a week since before Christmas and barely sliding into second for a first week bye. Then I won the semis 9-2 and the finals 7-4 to cap off something like a 7 week winnig streak. Big ups to my goalies with a combined .99 gaa Over the last week and a shutout each. And thanks to Blake Wheeler for nothing. And most importantly big ups to Dobber nation for all the help through the season, you have made my first year a success, thank you guys!

Walked away with my H2H league this year (second team in sig). Won the regular season and then won the playoffs (finished last night) both fairly easily. Although everyone around here helped me in some decisions ...... I gotta say a big thanks to Pengwin7 for all the help in the off-season with strategy, draft rankings and keeper decisions. Regular Season: Finished 1st
Playoffs: Won my first title (was worried I was gonna be like Kevin in "The League" and never win my own league)
Crosby and Mike Smith led me to victory for my first title in the league I run. Championship week ended last night. I was trailing from Tuesday until late Saturday night when Mike Smith (who I traded for from the guy I was playing in the finals) got me a 44-save shutout and Corey Perry got me 19 PIMs to help me register 75.3 FPS for the night. Final score of the matchup was 284.8 to 269.2.

League 2: DFHL (H2H Category Scoring Limited Keeper)
Regular Season: Finished 1st
Playoffs: Barely snuck into the Finals this week. Lost 4/6 offensive categories last week thanks to his Neal, Del Zotto, Krejci, Sedin, Weber. But I swept all four goaltending categories with Miller, Quick and Kiprusoff and enter my first Finals appearance in this league this week.

League 3: AAPL (H2H Fantasy Points Scoring Auction)
Regular Season: Finished 1st
Playoffs: Lost in the semis to my brother, who led the entire league in points last week (by 30ish). Didn't help that he has Elliott and I have Halak and Elliott got a shutout and Halak sucked. Oh well, you can't win them all. Playing for 3rd place this week.

League 4: PHL (H2H Category Scoring Non-Keeper)
Regular Season: Finished 3rd
Playoffs: Beat the 6 seed in the 1st round pretty handedly, but just got my ass handed to me 10-5 in the semis to the 2 seed (a guy I beat every time during the regular season). The Daniel Sedin/Duncan Keith situation hurt me double as I had both of them (traded for Daniel at the deadline). That coupled with Rinne/Theodore/Lehtonen playing poorly last week sent me to the 3rd place game this week.

0 for 3 in my final week, two of them being 3rd place matchups so I dont even get a Yahoo medal.

Didn't realize the Pens game started so early yesterday and had Fleury in. Even with Lundqvist in later that night, Fleury's game made me lose GAA by a hair and thus lose bronze. So angry.
